Let's talk

Property landing pages: what goes above the fold (hint: not 'Luxury Living Redefined')

In this article 4 parts
  1. The first screen has one job
  2. Put these up top
  3. Below the fold
  4. Speed matters more than you think

The first screen has one job

Get a serious buyer to tap "Book a site visit" or "Get the price sheet". That's it. Not admire your font choices.

Put these up top

  • Project name and exact location (sector, road, landmark)
  • Configurations: 2, 3, 4 BHK, plot sizes, whatever applies
  • Price range or "starting from"
  • Possession status: ready, under construction, launch
  • One strong image or a 10-second walkthrough
  • One button. Not four.

Below the fold

Location map with drive times, floor plans, amenities (briefly), construction updates, RERA details, FAQs and a short form.

Speed matters more than you think

Most visitors come from phone ads. If your page takes eight seconds to load a 12 MB hero video, they're gone. Compress everything. Test on a mid-range Android, not your MacBook.

Quick questions

Should the price be on the landing page?

If you can, yes. A range or starting price filters out people who cannot afford it and saves your sales team hours.

Form or WhatsApp button?

Both. Some people want to fill a form, many would rather tap WhatsApp.
